Privacy Policy
“Who’s In?” is a multi-touch chooser app: everyone puts a finger on the screen and the app picks a winner, splits teams, or assigns a turn order. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or location.
Data stored on your device
The app saves the following locally, on your device only. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app:
- Your preferences: theme, sound and haptics toggles.
- Simple usage counters used to pace ads (number of rounds played, number of sessions, when an ad was last shown).
- Whether you have purchased the ad-free upgrade.
Advertising
Unless you purchase the ad-free upgrade, the app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
- Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, or the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS).
- Your IP address and coarse, IP-derived location.
- Device and app information (device model, operating system version, app version) and ad interaction data such as impressions and clicks.
Where required by law, the app shows a consent screen before personalized ads are used. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland this is Google's UMP consent form; on iOS, the system App Tracking Transparency prompt also applies. You can decline tracking and still use the app in full — you will simply see non-personalized ads.
Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies: Google Privacy & Terms and How Google uses data from AdMob.
Purchases
The ad-free upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Your payment details are handled by those stores and never reach us or the app. The app only receives confirmation that the purchase is active, and stores that confirmation on your device.
Analytics and crash reporting
The app includes no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK. Google Play and the App Store may provide us with their own aggregated, anonymous statistics about installs and crashes, which we cannot link to you as an individual.
Summary of third parties
| Service | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Showing and measuring ads | Advertising ID, IP address, device and ad interaction data |
| Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase | Processing the ad-free purchase | Purchase status (payment details stay with the store) |
Children
The app is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will address it.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you on our servers, there is nothing on our side to export or delete. You remain in control of the data described above:
- Reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- Withdraw or change ad consent from the privacy options in the app's Settings screen, where applicable in your region.
- Remove all locally stored data by uninstalling the app.
- For data held by Google as a result of ads, exercise your rights directly with Google using the links above.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the legal bases we rely on are your consent (for personalized advertising) and legitimate interest (for non-personalized advertising and basic app functionality).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the change in the app.
